Puja Khanna

Research Scholar, Department of Anatomy, NUS Medicine, National University of Singapore

Puja received her B.Sc. degree in life sciences from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, India, following which she went on to obtain her M.Sc. degree in biotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, India. Having received her undergraduate and master’s degree in life sciences, Puja has always had a keen interest in translational research and is currently pursuing her doctoral research in identifying novel biomarkers in gastric cancer from the National University of Singapore, Singapore. During her doctoral studies, she has been a part of the organising committee for several scientific and non-scientific events and has also served as the President of the Graduate Students Society for the Department of Anatomy, NUSMed. Puja is interested in the commercialization of basic research and is keen on facilitating technology transfer from academia to the industry. Outside of work, she also enjoys traveling, dancing and water sports.
