Puja Khanna

Postdoctoral Fellow at Genome Institute of Singapore

Puja graduated from St. Xavier’s College, India, with a Bachelors in Life Sciences, following which she went on to receive her PhD in Oncology from the National University of Singapore, Singapore. She is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Genome Institute of Singapore, where she is working on elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease, with the aim of developing novel therapeutic strategies. During her doctoral studies, she was actively involved in organizing and managing several scientific conferences and events. Through BCS, Puja hopes to facilitate technology transfer from bench-to-bedside in the Singapore bio-ecosystem. Outside of work, she also enjoys traveling, dancing and water sports.

Biotech Connection Singapore (BCS) is part of an international network of non-profit organizations, that aims to promote the transfer of ideas from theory to real world applications by providing a platform for fostering interaction between academia, industry and businesses.
