Phyllis PHUAH

Phyllis graduated from Imperial College London with a BSc in Biomedical Science, and stayed on to complete a PhD in Clinical Medicine. Phyllis is currently a scientist at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology at A*STAR, with broad research interests in the fields of stem cells, cancer, and neurometabolism. She is also passionate about scientific communication and outreach activities. Through BCS, Phyllis hopes to immerse herself into the vibrant biotech ecosystem in Singapore, as well as to contribute to the startup scene by facilitating exchange between academics, companies and government agencies.

Biotech Connection Singapore (BCS) is part of an international network of non-profit organizations, that aims to promote the transfer of ideas from theory to real world applications by providing a platform for fostering interaction between academia, industry and businesses.
