Natasha NG


Natasha Ng graduated from Imperial College London with a BSc in Biology and obtained a DPhil in Medical Sciences from the University of Oxford. She is currently a research fellow in A*STAR and her work seeks to understand the mechanisms underlying the development of diabetes and metabolic conditions, to uncover new therapeutic pathways for tackling the disease. She is also co-founder of an early-stage medical device start up, BioMe Oxford, where she gained substantial hands-on experience in biotech entrepreneurship spanning technical and business development, including pitching, technical due diligence, patenting, risk analysis and formulating operational workflows. Through BCS she hopes to contribute to fostering an entrepreneurial spirit in the community. Outside of work, Natasha is passionate about graphic design, volunteering and hiking.

Biotech Connection Singapore (BCS) is part of an international network of non-profit organizations, that aims to promote the transfer of ideas from theory to real world applications by providing a platform for fostering interaction between academia, industry and businesses.
