Mayura WAGLE

Mayura completed her B.Sc from the University of Sydney and undertook her PhD at the Australian National University. She is an immunologist by training and her research investigated molecular pathways affecting immune cell function in autoimmune and chronic diseases. Mayura is passionate about community building and during her PhD, co-founded and led a student organisation aimed at fostering social and academic support for PhD students. After moving to Singapore, Mayura completed the academia to biotech transition fellowship program at ESCO Ventures and is now an Associate incubating a biotech venture creation project in cancer immunotherapy. In her free time, Mayura enjoys networking, Indian classical dance and traveling.

Biotech Connection Singapore (BCS) is part of an international network of non-profit organizations, that aims to promote the transfer of ideas from theory to real world applications by providing a platform for fostering interaction between academia, industry and businesses.
