Marianne SHEILA

Marianne Sheila graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a BSc in Biological Sciences 
and obtained her PhD in Stem Cell Therapeutics and Neuroscience from the National University of 
Singapore. Currently, she is working as a Project Scientist at the Bioprocessing Technology Institute in 
A*STAR and her research focus is in the area of antibody therapeutics and drug development. At BCS, 
she holds the position of an Events Lead and aims to organize interesting events targeting scientists, 
entrepreneurs, industry professionals and government agencies so that they can network and build 
lasting connections. Outside the lab, Marianne enjoys baking, singing and running marathons.   

Biotech Connection Singapore (BCS) is part of an international network of non-profit organizations, that aims to promote the transfer of ideas from theory to real world applications by providing a platform for fostering interaction between academia, industry and businesses.
