Kevin Chau graduated from University of Wisconsin – Madison with a BSc in Genetics and obtained a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from Harvard University. He is currently a founder in residence in Entrepreneur First, and is developing start-up ideas related to stem cell technologies and diagnosis of neurological diseases. Before embarking on his entrepreneurial journey, Kevin had done research in both academia and biotech companies for more than 12 years. His research resulted in 1 patent and 10 peer-reviewed publications spanning the fields of stem cells, neuroscience, developmental biology and cancer. Through BCS he hopes to help foster communications and collaborations among scientists and entrepreneurs in Singapore. Outside work, Kevin is passionate about stock investment, travel, food and football.

Biotech Connection Singapore (BCS) is part of an international network of non-profit organizations, that aims to promote the transfer of ideas from theory to real world applications by providing a platform for fostering interaction between academia, industry and businesses.
