Hanzhang (Helen) ZHOU

Hanzhang (Helen) graduated from National University of Singapore (NUS)
with a BSc in Food Science and Technology. She is currently pursuing her
PhD at NUS under the Integrative Sciences & Engineering Programme
(formerly known as NGS). She is deeply interested in translational science
and interdisciplinary research, and she is currently combining knowledges
from tissue engineering and food science to solve cultivated meat problems
to enhance the food security of Singapore. Helen is also an A*STAR
Graduate Scholarship recipient.

Through BCS, Helen aspires to immerse herself in Singapore’s vibrant
biotech community and fostering collaboration among academics, industry
leaders, and governmental bodies to contribute to the start-up landscape in
Singapore.

Biotech Connection Singapore (BCS) is part of an international network of non-profit organizations, that aims to promote the transfer of ideas from theory to real world applications by providing a platform for fostering interaction between academia, industry and businesses.
