Divya received her Master of Technology in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi, India. After the completion of her master’s degree, Divya worked as a research analyst at Stellarix Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd., India. To gain in-depth knowledge and expertise in science, she enrolled in the doctoral programme at the National University of Singapore and enjoys working at the Centre for Bioimaging Sciences (CBIS). She is currently working on understanding the protein-protein interaction and protein dynamics in zebrafish brain development with different fluorescent microscopy techniques. Working on different research projects with globally based teams has helped her gain valuable experience in project management, data analysis and cross-collaboration, which she wishes to apply in her capacity as the Events Lead for BCS. In her free time, Divya can be found in parks playing with dogs.

Biotech Connection Singapore (BCS) is part of an international network of non-profit organizations, that aims to promote the transfer of ideas from theory to real world applications by providing a platform for fostering interaction between academia, industry and businesses.
