Miniature Cardio-sensor minimizes hospital visits for patients with heart failure


For all those who have a weak heart and dislike the frequent visit to the hospitals, here comes the good news: Cardiologists at the Mount Sinai medical center have begun placing small heart sensors called the CardioMEMS HF system in patients who are at a higher risk to heart failure in order to monitor symptoms to reduce the umpteen number of visits to the hospitals.
